ESD Engineer

This Melbourne based team of designers, engineers and architects are renowned for their work in sustainable design and development.

With a recently appointed Sustainability Lead and an expanding design team they are looking for someone to support the Sustainability team in continually improving the service and advice they provide to their progressive clients.

To thrive in this role you will need the following:

    • Experience in delivering ESD solutions within the built environment
    • Exposure to delivering projects to local building codes and standards
    • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Sustainable Design or a related field
    • Experience in IES VE, FirstRate5, Green Star and NatHERS assessment tools
    • Clear and positive communication style with excellent written language skills
    • Ability to work with initiative as well as a proactive and collaborative approach
    • Accreditation in Green Star, One Planet Living, Living Building Challenge desirable
    • Knowledge of passive and water sensitive urban design, materials and embodied emissions
    • Strong analytical skills with design thinking principles knowledge and application to problem solving
